Petra Lorch’s paintings go beyond the pure act of painting – they reflect the sensitive processing of her own experiences. The final piece of art is not only created by the feelings and emotions of the artist – it is also the result of her pleasure in painting. Petra Lorch is fascinated by color and is trying to use it to open new and constantly evolving worlds to the viewer. Her joy and energy is translated through the color application and creates a projection of her own emotions and imaginations. Warm, luminous color patches, combined with layers of bright colors create a homogenous composition of her feelings.
